Can I just take a moment to appreciate Harry Potter?, He’s an amazing character but we’re always so busy worrying about the people around him to think about how fucking amazing this kid is. His parents were taken from him before he even had a chance to know him, His only memories of his parents are either created in his head or come from pictures. He grew up in an abusive home and received no love from the family members he did have and then boom! He learns that he’s not just Harry Potter. He’s the motherfucking Boy Who Lived. He’s the motherfucking savior of the wizarding world. And then he goes on all these amazing adventures in which he suffers so fucking much and no one really understands because no one (well maybe Neville) understands what he’s feeling. No one understands that he’s lost his mother, his father, his godfather, his friends. No one really gets it but Harry never lets that bother him because he’s strong. He has the heart of a lion. He’s the fucking person that shaped and changed our entire childhood. Amazing.
